The ceremony took place in a strong emotional climate,in Kokkylia, where the young Saffie had spent the first years of her life, as her parents used to keep there a clothes shop for years before they finally left for England. 

Saffie's  favourite song  was heard,very touching messages were read and written in the book of condolences, the song from the finale of the Ariana Grande concert was also heard and a little girl left a pink balloon in the sky of Kefalonia while everyone placed there a flower, a doll and a piece of their heart.

The modest ceremony ended with the song that everybody sang with one voice "You'll Never Walk Alone" while many people burst into  tears.
